URBANITE DISCO – ATLANTA, GA

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Urbanite Disco (aka Michael Vaughn), has always loved music. Weather it was trying to be a freestyle rapper in middle school, or dancing in the high school talent show he has always found a beat to groove to. He truly got the itch for DJ’ing while attending Clemson University where he would weekly hangout at Clemson’s Student Run Radio Station WSBF 88.1 FM.

After graduating from Clemson University, Urbanite Disco moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his love for Chicago House Music started as he would frequent legendry Chicago House Music Clubs such as “Red Dog” and “Crobar” and began to attend shows featuring the likes of Mark Farina, and Derrick Carter. Working as a Marketing Manager for Red Bull Energy Drink, Urbanite Disco had the opportunity to work with number of DJ’s, but decided a few years ago to start physically DJ’ing. Now living in Atlanta, GA, Urbanite Disco spins regularly at Koo Koo Room and Topgolf in Atlanta, plus 37 Main in Buford and John’s Creek, GA

Urbanite Disco’s music can be best described as “Dance Floor Mayhem” as his styles of house, electro, and disco will keep the dance floors moving.
