There’s NEVER a dull moment with DJ Dr. Doom, “The People’s Choice”!

Originally from Marianna, and now residing in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Doom has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years with successful stints in radio with The Doug Banks Morning show “All Star Mix Team”, WJBT 92.7/93.3 The Beat Jacksonville, FL , WEBZ 93.5 The Beat Panama City, FL, WQBT 94.1 The Beat Panama City, FL, and 100.7 The Beat Tallahassee & formerly syndicated on E93 and Magic 103.9 FM in Savannah, GA.

DJ Dr. Doom can currently be heard on 93.3 the beat daily during 5pm drive time, nightly at 9:45p during the club 93.3 mixshow, Fridays from 7-9p, Saturdays from 9p-12a, and also Sundays from 8p-12pm. His television appearances include being the resident DJ for the Straight talk TV show founded by Delores Weaver (co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars); a show about teaching teens the truth about sex and STD’s, BET’s “The Next”, “Rap City”, The 2005 “AND 1” Mixtape DVD, and the Island Vibes video show. Dr Doom’s major accomplishments include producing a tribute to the Jacksonville Jaguars with his former group BTN, moving from a small town that virtually no one knows about with a population of about 3,500 people and coming to a city with over a million people and achieving his dreams when people back home said it couldn’t be done, and his most cherished accomplishments are his wife Kira, his son Khari, daughters Khamora and Khamille.

DJ Dr. Doom was formerly a street rep for Ozone Magazine and owner of Rush Street Nightclub at the Jacksonville Landing. In addition to his busy radio schedule, he is currently managing Get Down Apparel, and creating celebrity mixtapes!  He has been featured in magazines like The Ozone, Hits, The Fader, Urban Network, E Mixshow, Don’t Think Twice, Technitions, the Source, Billboard Magazine, R & R, Duval streets Magazine, the Folio weekly, The Florida Times Union, Hip Hop Weekly and more.

DJ Dr. Doom recently shared the stage with Outkast, LL Cool J, Fantasia, The Roots, War, Doug E Fresh, Slick Rick, Goodie Mob, Isley Brothers, Erykah Badu, Charlie Wilson, B.O.B., Salt N Pepa, New Edition, Frankie Beverly & Maze as the tour DJ of one of the largest growing outdoor concerts series in the south, “Pepsi Funk Fest.”
