DJ Chris Craze

Born in Germany, The Legendary DJ Chris Craze started mixing tunes and playing his keyboards back in the early 80’s….

Around the age of 8, Chris discovered his love for mixed music. He and his best friend spent every afternoon in a garage mixing records and dreaming of being big club DJ’s. In his teens, Chris was spinning all kinds of events; Teen Dances, Rock-N-Bowl, Tasco, Schools, Community Centers, and pretty much anywhere he could play.

His first large venue was the St. Pete Coliseum. He and his best friend Johnny D opened up for Arista recording artist Icey Jaye. Around the age of 15, Chris wandered into Kokomo Bay – a 21 and up club – hosting a teen night. There he would meet life long friend DJ Brian Thomas. He definitely open some doors for Chris. Chris went on to spin at some of Tampa Bay’s most iconic clubs, venues and spinning multiple seasons at Shepard’s Beach Resort and Hogan’s Beach. He traveled to China in 2011 and spun at iClub in Shanghai. From 2003 to 2010 Chris was the resident VJ at Floyd’s Night Club inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. From Late 2010 to 2013 he held the resident slot at the Hard Rock Cafe. As a high school student Chris was an intern at 93.3 WFLZ. In 2001 he was a DJ for Wild 98.7 WILD. In early 2014 he was hired by Hot 101.5 FM WPOI as a Mixer.
