Nick Scott grew up in South Lebanon, Ohio just outside of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Kings High School, The University of Cincinnati, and the Ohio Center for Broadcasting.
Nick started his entertainment career in his home town of Cincinnati, Ohio in both radio and live DJ events in 2002. While in Cincinnati he served as the over night personality at The Rebel 105.9 from 2003 to 2004, weekends on Warm 98 from 2004 to 2005, and weekends/utility personality on Q102 from 2005 to 2006. His radio career moved him to West Virginia in 2006 to serve as midday talent on Electric 102.7FM. Nick was the longest continuously running Midday host in the history of WVSR-FM, on the air until late 2017. Nick is also a guest DJ for nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick in the Morning radio show which is heard on over 76 radio stations in the United States and on the Armed Forces Network.
Behind the turntables Nick has opened for, or performed in support of, acts such as Florida Georgia Line, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Earth Wind & Fire, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Flo Rida, Salt N Pepa, Girls Night Out WV, the Color Vibe, Color My College, President Bill Clinton, and Nick Lachey to name a few.
Nick’s wedding & event career began at the Woodlands Reception Hall in Cincinnati, OH where he spent 5 years as the Lead Resident DJ of wedding events. Nick has served as resident DJ at Metropolis Nightclub (Cincinnati, OH) & Impulse Nightclub (Charleston, WV.) Since starting his career Nick has performed at over 500 formal events and countless nightlife bookings. His unique style of utilizing turntables & beat-mixing to create upbeat & energetic events makes Nick a crowd favorite at weddings, events & parties.
Nick doesn’t give himself shout outs on the mic, he doesn’t display a large banner with his name or logo, and he doesn’t talk your ear off all night over the sound system. What he does is what every DJ should strive to do – make your event successful, memorable, and fun. The way Nick mixes and puts songs together is unparalleled.
