A self-proclaimed nerd JARVICIOUS (Jarvis) is a leader in the club & concert scene of the Southwest. His festival style sets, smooth cuts, and flawless mixing showcase his immaculate attention to detail and dedicated work ethic.
Audiences know DJ JARVICIOUS for bringing a solid mix touching several formats in a single performance, and for surprising crowds with the ability to breathe new-life into familiar classics in a big way. Spinning a passionate balance of old school and mainstream Hip-Hop, Rock, and funky-laced Pop tracks, he tends to live ‘elbows deep’ in the crates searching for the perfect playlist. JARVICIOUS takes the stage at each performance, pushing the limits creating a high-energy, live sound that feels like the perfect soundtrack for any party.
JARVICIOUS has been flexing his Open Format style behind the turntables for 18 years! The notoriety he has earned during that time has opened invitations to perform alongside countless recording artists from every corner of the industry. Some of these artists include Ying Yang Twins, Nelly, Panic! At The Disco, Fatman Scoop, DEV, E-40, Far East Movement, Saint Motel, Lil Jon, Warren G, Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen, Baby Bash, Imagine Dragons, Hailee Steinfeld, Daya, Jason Derulo, 311, Biz Markie, Plain White T’s, Katy Perry and many more over the years. JARVICIOUS has proven time and time again to be a decorated veteran to the live music scene.
JARVICIOUS is a trusted name recognized by Promoters, Venues, Commercial Brands, and Entertainers across the nation. He has frequently represented brands like Coca-Cola, TopGolf, Oakley, Nordstrom, and PINK by Victoria’s Secret with memorable performances, commanding venues of any size with his personal flair, a clear vocal presence, and the ability to read a different crowd, any night of the week. In his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah he performs weekly for a number of the leading venues throughout the Wasatch Front. And if he wasn’t busy enough, JARVICIOUS has been the in-game DJ for Real Salt Lake soccer since 2014, and the Official DJ for the 2016 & 2017 MLS All-Star Game and 2016 MLS Cup.
Thanks to his steady reputation and ‘geeky’ personality, Hollywood has been partying with JARVICIOUS for over a decade. He’s set the tone for comedians like Brandon T. Jackson (Percy Jackson & The Olympian), the late Charles Murphy, and David Koechner (Anchorman, Talladega Nights) in comedy clubs, as well as spun records side-by-side with Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite, Crank), RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, The Goonies), and Jess Harnell (Animaniacs, Transformers) just to name a few. Unique opportunities in Utah have made him a favorite of Salt Lake Comic Con‘s annual nightlife events and the Sundance Film Festival in Park City.
Finally, JARVICIOUS has a confident approach to the ever-changing radio industry. He is an All-Star Mixer for U92 “#1 for Hip-Hop and R&B” (KUUU), the host of the Weekend Hot Mix on Mix 103.1 (KURR) in Southern Utah, performs regularly for Mix 1051 “All The Hits” (KUDD), and proudly stands-out by being the only mix show DJ for Utah’s #1 Alternative Rock heritage station… X96 “Utah’s Original Alternative” (KXRK).
