Born and raised in Houston, DJ dTrain moved to Dallas in 2005 in pursuit of a degree in science. After developing a strong passion for music, he began learning the art of DJing. After honing his craft at college parties, in 2008 he quickly transitioned into the demanding Dallas club scene. Widely known for his open format style of mixing, dTrain’s has a very unique style of mixing popular cross genre underground and mainstream sounds.

His popularity has allowed him to perform for high profile celebrities such as Future, 50 Cent, French Montana, Nelly, Lady Gaga, Diddy, Kenny Burns, R. Kelly, Mark Cuban, T.I., J. Cole, Pauly D, Tyga, Lil’ Jon, Deion Sanders, YesJulz and more!

He has spun at clubs and venues around the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Zouk, Rio Room, Monroe Lounge, Rageville Music Festival, Citizen, American Airlines Center, Luxx Nightclub, Club Synn, Topgolf, Club Plush, House of Blues Foundation room, Dallas Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium, and many more.

DJ dTrain has also taken his sounds to cities of Los Angeles, Fayetteville, Austin, Seattle, Orlando, Hawaii and Cancun.
